About MetaFlow
The story behind the app
MetaFlow was created by someone who has been in the stock world for over ten years — as a contributor and as someone who knows how agencies and stock photographers really work. I’ve felt the pain of manual metadata, inconsistent keywords, and the time it takes to prepare large batches for different platforms.
This app was built with that experience in mind: with care and close attention to the details that matter—from editorial prefixes and location fields to category mapping and CSV rules for each stock site. Every feature is there because stock contributors asked for it or because the workflow demanded it.
Why I built my own app
Over the years I’ve tried a lot of apps and AI services for metadata and stock workflow. Again and again I ran into the same thing: something didn’t fit, something was missing, or the tool didn’t really understand how stock contributors work. So I decided to build my own app—and I did. MetaFlow is the tool I wanted to have.
Not perfect — but we’re improving it together
I’m sure MetaFlow won’t suit everyone, and I have no doubt there are bugs and rough edges. I’m committed to improving it with your feedback. Write reviews, send suggestions, and report what bothers you—I’ll do my best to take your input into account in future updates. Let’s make it better together.
The game has changed
The rules of stock have shifted. Volume and speed matter more than ever, but quality and accuracy still decide whether files get accepted and found. AI changes what’s possible: what used to take hours or days can now be done in minutes. MetaFlow is built to put that power in your hands—without losing control. You stay in charge of your metadata; the app handles the heavy lifting so you can focus on shooting and selling.
MetaFlow is made for people who take stock seriously: for photographers and videographers who want a tool that understands their needs and grows with them.
